South Korean actor Lee Sang Yoon has released an official note on Fancafe to talk about his love life and to share his dating news personally with his fans.
The news of Sang Yoon dating After School's Uee came to light last week after the agencies of both the actors released an official statement to confirm the dating rumours.
In his letter to his fans, the 34-year-old stated that he does not wish to hide the person he loves the most in his life. The actor also affirmed that he decided to date the Marriage Contract actress because he finds UEE a great person.
"I know you already saw through articles, but I am dating actress UEE. I decided to start seeing her because she is such a great person. I know some people are worried about the public relationship, but as important as my life as a public acting figure is, my personal life as Lee Sang Yoon is also important to me. I did not want to hide dating a person I loved. Please understand," the Insane actor wrote on his Fancafe.
He added: "I know it may be selfish, but I want support from my fans more than anyone else. Please understand and support us."
Meanwhile, Allkpop has released a fan post form Sang Yoon's s official fan SNS which reveals that the actor had talked about his relationship earlier in a Japan fan meet even before the dating news broke out.
The statement read: "He revealed that he is in a relationship at the fan meeting in Osaka on January 11."
It continued: "One of the fans asked Lee Sang Yoon if he had a girlfriend. He was a bit startled by the question, but answered 'Yes'. He then even apologized and said, 'I am sorry for those of you who think I am single."
