Lee Sang Min and Cha Tae Hyun topped the brand reputation rankings for Korean variety TV show stars in December.

The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation has released the latest rankings covering 36 variety show stars based on an analysis of 39.84 million pieces of big data from November 1 to December 1, a decrease by 4.16 percent compared to 41.57 million in November. It analyzed the results based on participation, media, communication and community indices.

Lee Sang Min, a debt-ridden entertainer and singer who is on the TV shows "Mom's Diary-My Ugly Duckling" and "Oppa Thinking," placed first with a score of 3.78 million, down by 2.85 percent from 3.89 million in November but enough to secure the top position.

Cha Tae Hyun of "2 Days & 1 Night" slipped from first to second place with 3.06 percent, a decrease of 44.51 percent compared to his last month's score of 5.48 million.

"Running Man" star Lee Kwang Soo grabbed third place with a score of 2.58 million, rising by 78.19 percent from his tenth place finish of 1.44 million last month.

Yoo Jae Suk of "Running Man," "Happy Together" and "Infinite Challenge" took fourth place with 2.3 million, an increase from 1.76 million in November.

Female comedian Park Na Rae of "I Live Alone" is fifth with a score of 2 million, jumping from 17th place last month.
