Gary will be highly missed from variety show Running Man. The South Korean rapper, who took off with the show seven years back, is reportedly bidding adieu to focus on music.
Actor Lee Kwang Soo, who is a dear friend and a permanent cast member of the longest running Tv series, gave his tribute to the singer recently at a prestigious award ceremony. Apparently, Asia's most loved actor expressed his bromance towards Garry while giving a Thank You speech at the 2016 Korean Pop Culture and Arts Awards held this Thursday. The actor reportedly received Prime Minister's award for his incredible contribution to the Korean Entertainment industry.
Kwang Soo first professed his gratitude, and later showcased his affection for his veteran co-star. The 31-year-old started with: "I thank the staff members who work hard for me and all of the people who support me even though I'm lacking. I wonder if I worked hard enough to receive such a huge award as this and am self-reflecting. I will only show a good image. "
For Gary, Kwang Soo added: " I'm not sure if it's appropriate to say this here, but Gary, you've worked hard all this time and I thank you."
The 38-year-old Leessang member will be seen in his last airing on 31 October.
