Lee Chan Ho has responded to reports that he cheated on his wife, former super model, Kim Sae Rom. Rumours that the celebrity chef deceived Sae Rom started after a video of him cozying up with another woman made rounds on the web.
According to a report in Allkpop, the intimate shots of Chan and his female counterpart initiated a feud between the married couple. Denying the accusation, the Please Take Care of My Refrigerator host responded through his label.
The official note read: "The video is from an after party of a festival [2016 Jeju Food and Wine Festival]. They are captured while hanging out with friends. The beginning and end are edited out, which is creating the misunderstanding. However, it is not an affair. The woman in the clip is just a friend. It is true that he acted without caution, but it is not true that there are conflicts in his marriage with Kim Sae Rom. The two are happily together."
While on the other hand, the representatives from Sae Rom's label have also stated that the supermodel is aware of the truth. The spokesperson affirmed: "Kim Sae Rom is aware of the recent video of chef Lee Chan Ho, and she also knows that the rumors are not true. The woman in the clip is Lee Chan Ho's long known friend, and Kim Sae Rom also knows her. Kim Sae Rom did not show much reaction to the situation. She only stated that she was aware of it."
In addition to this, the 28-year-old also took to her social media account, and shed light on the matter. She wrote: "I'd like to apologize as someone in the public eye. Chef Lee Chan Oh and I are doing fine. Thank you for your interest and concern."
Lee Chan Ho and Kim Sae Rom married in September 2015 after dating for four months.
