Game of Thrones is driving fans crazy by making them wait for close to two years for the final season, which promises to be bigger and more intense than ever before. However, audiences are constantly being teased with glimpses from the sets.
The most recent spoilers are the photos from Belfast of a huge set being constructed in Moneyglass, Northern Ireland, where the Winterfell set is situated. Now, the Winterfell castle exterior is getting a whole new make-over.
The Unsullied army scenes are being filmed in Toome since a few weeks, say sources. The mighty army is getting ready to face the biggest battle of their lives, the one with the undead White Walkers.
As we saw in Season 7, Jon seeks help from Daenerys to mine dragonglass for his army's weapons, as the White Walkers can only be defeated by obsidian weapons. Now that the living knows the White army's weakness, the battle is bound to be epic, not to forget the clash among one ice dragon and two fire dragons.
Since Season 8 has so many big revelations in store, fans are keeping an eagle's eye over any word from the sets. As we know, two giant sets are being built in preparation for the major scenes. What we are waiting to see is if the battles will be fought only in Winterfell or will it come to King's Landing, ruining Cersei's illusions of ultimate power.
Previously, Winterfell's exterior has always been CGI, but now the castle walls and grounds are being constructed, as suggested by the new photos. Moneyglass grounds are being carpeted by white tarps to create a snowy landscape. Another set is under development at the Titanic Studios parking lot, but a row of trucks are guarding the view of the main area.
Released photos show a half-constructed tower with window frames and other buildings, assumably city architecture, reports Watchers on the Wall. The great defensive wall also seems to be in ruins, although it is unclear if that signifies a new battle.

On the personal front, people are eagerly waiting for Jon to find out his relationship with Aunty Dany. How it will affect their newly developed romance remains to be seen. Also, will the Stark sisters continue standing united and face their opponents bravely? Only Season 8 will tell, which will be aired from late 2018 or early 2019.
The eighth season of Game of Thrones will have six episodes, each of one hour or more in length.
