It has been an emotion-filled year for Lady Gaga -- from her soulful performance of "Till It Happens to You," at the 88th Academy awards to getting a tattoo in support of sexual abuse survivors.
Lady Gaga has been on an emotive journey along with the victims since she can connect with them due to her traumatised past.
In a recent chat with Ryan Seacrest for onairwithryan.com, American singer-songwriter, she revealed that performing at Oscars has the been toughest for her.
"I had a really rough time getting ready for that [Oscars] performance. It was so hard to get through that song without [crying]. Actually, every other time I've performed it, I watched the performances back and I was mad at myself. I was like, 'You're crying, and weeping, and you're all upset.' I just couldn't get past re-experiencing it every time I sang the song. That's pretty common with people that's been through what we've been through."
She added: "I said I got to go out there and I have to be strong, and I have to get through this and really stand up to this person."
Currently, the 29-year-old is working on new music for her upcoming solo album release. Meanwhile, she is also engaged in making a full court press to use "Till It Happens to You" in order to lash out at the taboo and encouraging victims to speak up.
On a lighter note, Ryan went a step ahead to ask Gaga bout her marriage plans with fiance Taylor Kinney, to which Born This Way songstress replied: "We are not planning anything that is worth writing about". She said wedding is surely in her mind, and she will let the ladies of her life to make all the arrangements.
"I think if I wouldn't let my mom do this with all of us and my family—I think if I would of denied the women of my life the planning of the wedding they would probably kill me, I have all the help in the world in a way!
If the reports are to be believed, the Queen Monster is all set to marry fiance Taylor Kinney by the end of this year in a family style heritage wedding at some Italian countryside.
All we can do is wait for that perfect date !
