Lady Gaga, who is very often surrounded by controversies, has been nominated for the for 2017 NatWest British LGBT Awards. The Poker Face hitmaker, who identifies herself as a Bisexual, has always been a supporter of LGBT community. However, the popular singer has to compete hard to actually win the award as she faces stiff competition from some of the popular artists like- Olly Alexander, whose band are also nominated for Music Artist of the Year, model Cara Delevingne, actress Laverne Cox and Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui.
According to MSN Entertainment, British LGBT Awards founder Sarah Garrett MBE said: ''The 2017 NatWest British LGBT Awards shortlist features inspirational people who have and continue to use their platform to promote and enhance LGBT rights all over the world. All nominees are absolutely deserving of their place on the shortlist but it is now down to the public to choose their winners ahead of the ceremony which is set to be the biggest yet when it takes place in London on 12 May",
The LGBT Award ceremony will also pay tribute to the late George Michael, who unfortunately passed away on Christmas Day last year.
