Renowned South Korean musician Kim Gun Mo has agreed to do a cameo in SBS entertainment drama, Ddanddara. The legendary singer will reportedly appear in the upcoming episode which will air on 2 June.

The 48-year-old will appear in the show as an inspiring singer who has now become a Jjajangmyun delivery man. Confirming the news, an SBS official stated: "During Kim Gun Mo's appearance for 'Ddanddara's teaser, he showed off great chemistry with Ji Sung, making the Ddanddara team all wish that he would appear in the actual drama too, but now he's actually agreed to do a cameo."

The spokesperson also added that the Excuse singer is set to mesmerize the fans with his amazing acting skills. The source said: "Please anticipate how Kim Gun Mo will entertain viewers with his acting, as he has quite a few lines."

The makers of the show released a trailer starring the Jjanga singer and Ji Sung on April 6. The clip garnered a lot of appreciation, following which the production team decided to rope in Gun Mo for a bigger role.

Adding on, in related news, the makers of Ddanddara have decided to extend the series by two episodes following its popularity. The show will now conclude on 16 June.

The star cast of the show includes Ji Sung, Hyeri, Kang Min Hyuk and Chae Jung An. The show airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00 KST on SBS.
