Well, the Goblin fever began in the Philippines just a few weeks ago and we are already here with an interesting tidbit. Recently, local Manila dailies reported a story of a KFC employee who looks exactly like the Goblin actor Gong Yoo. And now, he has started modelling for the fast-food chain.
KFC has launched an interesting social media campaign to find his Goblin bride. They have even released a poster that features Gong Yoo's lookalike waiting for his bride Ji Eun-Tak, played by Korean actress Kim Go-Eun.
According to Inquirer.net, the winner who will be chosen as the look-alike of Goblin's Bride will get P5,000 worth of KFC gift certificates and a photo-op with the Filipino look-alike of Gong Yoo. "The mechanics are simple. They just need to submit a photo of themselves as look-alikes of Goblin's bride; they can put on makeup and wear costumes to make it more convincing," the report further added.
Soon netizens bombarded the page with funny comments, photos, photos of friends and some even started looking for a sword in his chest. The 16-episode drama is aired on weeknights on the Kapamilya network.
