JYP Entertainment's CEO Jung Wook praised about TWICE's achievements this year Facebook/Twice

JYP Entertainment's CEO Jung Wook has opened up about the band which earned the most profit in 2016. During an interview with E-Daily, the firm's head praised about TWICE's achievements this year.

He stated: "TWICE's Cheer Up ranking first place in the yearly chart symbolizes that JYP Entertainment is properly entering the new stage...TWICE was the first group that we produced after we changed our system."

The South Korean girl group was formed in 2015 through reality show Sixteen. The band consists of nine members, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.

He added: "This is just the beginning for TWICE. They should stay humble because they still have a long way to go. As for their achievements, they've done far better than expected...The execution was better than we planned."

Adding on, Wook also dished about the company's profit makers of 2016. He said: "TWICE is in fourth place, following 2PM (#1), Suzy (#2), and GOT7 (#3) in profit...As the company's growth model changes, TWICE has more potential for profit increase."
