After two decades, Steven Spielberg's Jurrasic Park is still creating news as recently a leaked alternate ending became viral. In the viral video, the scene was deemed to be the ending of the classic film, Jurrasic Park.
The Jurassic Park concludes with Ellie (Laura Dern), Grant (Neill) and their kids exiting the park with Hammond (Attenborough) but it seems ther was actually an alternative ending. In a video that has surfaced, it can be seen that a T-rex tried to hold back the humans from leaving the park through a helicopter by using its huge teeth.
According to the video, "Grant and the children initially escape in the Jeep before a fallen tree blocks their route, forcing them to move on foot. The T-Rex is then shown to be pursuing the group, who just about make it to their escape helicopter just before the dinosaurs has the chance to kill them," NME reported.
Jurassic Park Early Sequence Storyboards by Phil Tippett, the visual effects supervisor credited in the film as 'Dinosaur Supervisor', have been recently uncovered by Gizmodo revealing a different ending completely.
Fans got a completely different perspective of the classic movie and are now wondering what if this would have been the ending of the film? Certainly, 90s kids would have had some nightmares and would left a bad taste to the viewers. Cutting out that scene was important to attract a massive number of viewers and create such a huge fanbase.
Jurassic Park was the first film on dinosaurs and people of 90s for the first time was watching dinosaurs and how they looked like and how did the move about in this world. The prehistoric creatures on the silver screen were undoubtedly a treat to the viewers. And, this is the reason Jurassic Park remained one of the best movies of all time.
Yet, the avid fans of Steven Spielberg want to know why it was omitted. If Spielberg himself throws some light on the matter it will be easier for the ever-growing fanbase of the classic film.
