"The K2" co-stars Yoona and Ji Chang Wook dating rumours finally comes to rest as Ji Chang Wook finally clarifies the doubts about their relation.
With the 16th episode, the tvN thriller political drama came to an end on 12 November. However, speculations about Ji Chang Wook and Yoona's true relationship did not come to an end with the popular drama.
Their incredibly strong chemistry was convincing enough to believe that they were more than just co-stars and till date, people continue to speculate the same.
Well, Ji Chang Wook has once and for all cleared the doubts. "The dating rumours involving Yoona are not true," Ji Chang Wook clarified in an interview with dongA. He further said, "I just worked hard and, again, a lot of people came to misunderstand this time. So I thought, 'Again?' and just laughed."
Ji Chang Wook and Yoona shared a really intimate relationship on screen and because of that rumours of them dating in real life also kept circulating.
Ji Chang Wook made sure that whether such rumours are negatively affecting the actress or not. The actor even spoke to Yoona about the matter.
"I always try to be very considerate of the actress," Ji Chang Wook further added, "I've also talked to Yoona about these rumours and we just laughed it off."
Ji Chang Wook remarked, "I think good acting results when working together in a comfortable environment."
Further clearing the suspicions, he said, "And that also helps to increase the viewers' focus but that tends to lead to misunderstandings. I think that's what happened again this time."
Rather, Ji Chang Wook said that he would describe their relationship as a 'close oppa-dongsaeng' or brother-younger sister.
The Korean actor also revealed that he will be enlisting in the military in 2017 and dating during this time won't be good for him or the other person as he will not be able to give time for the relationship.
