Drake is reportedly heartbroken after reports emerged that Jennifer Lopez is dating former baseball star Alex Rodriguez. The Canadian rapper is having a hard time digesting the fact that the 47-year-old singer has moved on in her love life.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Drake hates the news because he feels like he let her get away, and now Alex is enjoying the relationship he could have had with her."
"At the same time, he understands that Alex is in a different place in his life and is the person Jen needs right now," the insider added. "Alex is more on her wavelength. Drake might not like it, but he will have to deal with it. He's not going to bother to interfere because he respects Jen and her decisions, even though he thinks he's the better man."
Rumours that Lopez and Drake are dating started after the two were spotted spending time together. The Shades of Blue star had also shared images with Drake on her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, Lopez came on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and talked about her relationship status with Drake. Daily Show host Trevor Noah asked: "I want to know genuinely, did you get with Drake because you didn't know me yet?"
Lopez replied: "Let me clear this up, I am not with Drake."
Meanwhile, People claimed that Lopez and Rodriguez are taking things slowly. A source said: "They have been dating for a few weeks. She seems excited. He has been around her family and she really likes that he is a dad. She is aware, though, that he is a ladies' man too and is being cautious. For now, it's just fun. She is single and enjoys dating."
