Filipina actress/television host Janine Gutierrez has revealed that the road to stardom is not so easy. The 26-year-old, whose parents are actors Lotlot de Leon and Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, says hardwork is the key to success.
During a press conference for GMA 7's upcoming drama series, Once Again, Janine whose family includes Nora Aunor, Pilita Corrales and Eddie Gutierrez, said: "It was an advantage. It still boils down to hard work. That is why I make sure to give my best whenever I get entrusted with a good project."
"My mom has been winning awards lately. Of course, I'm proud of her, but I feel like I have to step up," she added.
Meanwhile, in the show, Janine will be seen opposite Aljur Abrenica. She said: "But I'm lucky because my loved ones are supportive of me. This is another pressure, I guess. I want to be well-prepared for this, as it is my first time to do heavy drama."
"It's a love story, so intimate scenes are to be expected. We did not get to talk that much back then. But now, I'm surprised to learn that we have a lot of things in common; that there are a lot of things we can talk about," Janine said.
