Girls' Generation member Im Yoona is garnering quite a lot of attention in the Chinese entertainment industry, thanks to her Chinese debut drama, God of War. The period drama, which is set in the turbulent years of the Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms, is described to be a huge success. It has reportedly recorded more than 10 billion hits through various Chinese online videos sites resulting in Yoona's soaring popularity.
The multitalented actor, who debuted as a singer in girl group Girls's Generation, is fascinated with obtaining hallyu stardom. When asked to reveal the recipe of her world-wide adulation, the You are my Destiny actress relayed: "I'm not too sure, but I think people recognize me from Girls' Generation, and came to like me even more through my Chinese dramas."
Yoona , who is the cover lady of July High Cut, also talked about hitting 10 billion views for God of War. "It's a number that I never even imagined. It felt very untrue at first because it was the first time that I ever experienced 10 billion views. It's incredible," she shared with the magazine.
