HBO has confirmed in a statement to Entertainment Weekly that it was a victim of hacking, however, the company is not sure about the amount of damage as of yet.

So far, unseen episodes of HBO series Room 104 and Ballers have surfaced online.

Although the episodes of HBO's extremely popular action drama, Game of Thrones, have not been dropped online yet, the leak reportedly contains some writings, which is suspected to be some sort of treatment or script of an upcoming GoT episode of the ongoing season 7. If the reports are true, then it's a huge deal for HBO.

HBO notified its employees regarding the breach on Monday and hackers have claimed to have grabbed 1.5 terabytes of HBO data and have alluded that more leaks are on the way.

"As most of you have probably heard by now, there has been a cyber incident directed at the company which has resulted in some stolen proprietary information, including some of our programming. Any intrusion of this nature is obviously disruptive, unsettling, and disturbing for all of us. I can assure you that senior leadership and our extraordinary technology team, along with outside experts, are working round the clock to protect our collective interests," HBO CEO Richard Plepler wrote in an email to Entertainment Weekly.
