A new Grand Theft Auto 5 mod enables players to fight against aliens outside the earth to spice up the gameplay, which has been stuck around the borders of San Andreas.
The Grand Theft Space mod allows players to explore the outer space and engage in battles with aliens. As of this time, the new mod is still in development and will soon be released. In a video teaser released by the developers, the mod shows an expedition of astronauts to space, making the classic action adventure game a whole new experience for GTA fans across all generations.
In the mod's narrative, the backstory is revealed. As it puts, the earth is alone in the galaxy, but NASA was able to discover intelligent life forms from another galaxy peering at the people on the earth for a thousand years. Before even these aliens invade earth, a new mission unfolds for every GTA 5 player to take down these enemies.
"This life was not the friendly life we would like to believe", states the synopsis. "The NASA research team have found remnants of alien spaceship parts scattered around the state of San Andreas".
The mod's main author named Sollaholla stressed that the team will release it whenever it is good to go. At launch, the developers vow to deliver four missions and they include explorations outside the solar system. Players will be able to land on surface planets as they embark on defeating aliens.
So far in the development of the Grand Theft Space mod, almost 100 percent has been done already. Developers are still mulling over which collectibles will be scattered across the map and which rewards to drop once they are all collected.
