Google's technical lead for Duo app, Justin Uberti, has recently confirmed on Twitter that audio calls are now live worldwide to all Duo users.
Meanwhile, folks at Android Police have confirmed that the latest version 9.1.1516 of Google Duo app has been tested and found to be working fine. Here's what they said regarding the app's functionality:
"It didn't show up when I first opened the app, but after a few seconds the toggle was at the top allowing me to switch from video to audio call. And obviously, it works as expected."
Interested users may go ahead and grab the APK file for the app via APK Mirror or download the same via Google Play Store.
