The popular Korean star, Gong Yoo is receiving love and affection from people all over the world. Now, the 37-year-old star will be seen in the CNN spotlight. Given the popularity he received from the latest drama, Goblin this doesn't come as a shock.
The actor will be following the footsteps of other K-stars such as BIGBANG, PSY, BoA, Lee Byung Hun, athletes Kim Yu Na and Park Ji Sung. His interview is scheduled to be aired at the end of this month.
According to the reports, they filmed an exclusive interview with the Goblin actor to be a part of their series, Talk Asia. The said talk show mainly focuses on important personalities related to arts, sports, politics, and business and he was definitely chosen for the immense popularity of Goblin: The Lonely and Great God where he played the role of Goblin. The drama ended up with pretty high ratings and can be considered as one the best K-dramas in the recent times.
Apart from Goblin, no one can forget his powerful acting in Train to Busan or Coffee Prince from where he started off his career- a decade ago. He is being loved for some many TV dramas and movies he starred in like Big, Finding Mr. Destiny, One Fine Day, and Silenced.
In other news, the actor is on a break after completing Goblin and a few other commitments will be soon holding fan meetings in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
According to Soompi, the actor will be holding a fan meet in Taiwan on April 29 and one in Hong Kong in the following week on May 6. This will be the first time that he is promoting overseas after starring in the hit tvN drama "Goblin."
