Actress Song Yoon Ah is totally in awe of Im Yoona's beauty. The 43-year-old veteran actress could not stop complimenting the Girls' Generation's member at a recent press conference of her upcoming drama, The K2.
Yoon Ah and Yoona will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time, and it seems they have started jelling quite well already. The Mama actress, who has appeared in dozen of dramas, shared that she has been an avid follower of the 26-year-old. She said: "YoonA and I have a good relationship. I was a big fan of Girls' Generation since the past."
Reminiscing an encounter story with the Hallyu star, Yoon Ah relayed: "YoonA probably remembers, and I apologize but I've danced with Girls' Generation when I was the MC of a film award years back. I practiced with them, and out of excitement, I even told the staff, 'YoonA is so pretty. YoonA's eyes are so bright like a deer.' At the time, she was such a pretty, pure, clean girl, and the way she looked up and called me 'Unnie' made me fall in love.I can still remember that face even after all these years. Seeing her on the set was welcoming and also different. "
During her interaction with the media, Yoon Ah also pardoned the lead star of The K2 to do not confuse her intention with the character's though she is playing it. The Seoul born actress laughingly clarified: "In the drama, my filming with YoonA is short. From now on, there'll be more filming, and I [for the drama character] have to trouble her. I hope YoonA understands that my mind is not really like that."
The K2 is set to take over the Friday and Saturday time slot previously occupied by The Good Wife on 23 September. Currently, the cast is in town for the promotions, however, the shooting schedule will carry on after the promotional activities are over.
