As the premiere date of Game Of Thrones Season 7 is drawing near, fans are being bombarded with amazing information about the new show. The last such news came out on Monday the show makers, during an event at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, confirmed that English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will guest star in the show.
The 26-year-old 'shape of you' hitmaker took to twitter to confirm the news.

Sheeran is not the first musician to be casted in the American fantasy drama series. Previously, Coldplay's Will Champion and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody played cameo roles in the drama.
Game of Thrones season 7, consisting of only seven episodes, will premiere on 16 July and it looks like it is all about the clash between fire and ice. The fire has always been associated with Emilia Clarke's Daenerys as she is the mother of dragons, while Jon Snow, the King of the North is associated with ice.
Several images that were leaked from filming location showed the forces of Daenerys and Jon Snow getting together in the new season of the drama inspired by George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. However, some fans believe White Walkers will become a greater threat in Season 7.
