Singer-actress IU made a surprise appearance on G Dragon Taipei concert on October 7. The duo even reprised their song 'Palette' on stage and fans went berserk quite literally. Right after that, IU beautifully rendered the female part of Dragon's 'Missing You' before bidding adieu. According to TV Report, IU invited Dragon to make an appearance on her upcoming December concert, for which the Big Bang member immediately agreed.

Taipei was the last leg pitstop of his Asian tour. Titled ACT III, MOTTE,' this was Dragon's first large-scale solo live tour across the globe. The Big Bang member's solo concerts were held across 29 cities including 9 cities in Asia, 8 cities in North America, 4 cities in Oceania, and 3 cities in Japan.

Dragon's next event will be the release of Kwon Ji Yong's Japanese version on November 1. The Korean version kickstarted a controversy on whether USB can be accepted as a full-fledged album. Recently, the Korea Music Content Industry Association—that operates Gaon charts— announced that the USB cannot technically be acknowledged as an album. Despite the crisis, the album topped charts across the globe breaking many records.

Following the release of Kwon Ji Yong's Japanese version, Dragon will also hold BigBang Japan Dome Tour 2017 - Last Dance for the fifth year in a row along with rest of the members. The tour will be held at 13 venues, including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo, with a total audience of 646,000.

Meanwhile, local dailies in Japan has claimed that Dragon is all set to enlist in the army and has started the preparation. Dragon is likely to enlist along with other BigBang members Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri this spring. Though Daesung and Seungri have time for their enlistment, the boys deduced to begin their military duties together considering the future of their band. Already, one of its member T.O.P has entangled in a drug controversy and is been servicing as a public service worker.
