Facebook has rolled out the latest update for the Messenger app. The update is now available to download for all Android devices.

Messenger 141.0.0.29.76 beta brings a couple of performance improvements and bug fixes, including the integration of call history and missed calls in one place. This makes the experience neater and more organised.

The latest Facebook Messenger update can manually be performed through an APK, which can be downloaded from APK Mirror. The APK weighs 58.61 megabytes, so there are certainly more tweaks and enhancements arriving with the release.

On Friday, October 20, Facebook rolled out the previous update for Messenger, allowing high-quality video calls. More performance enhancements are expected to come off in the next few days.

In the meantime, Facebook has also signed a partnership with PayPal for the integration of the e-payment service and the Messenger. With the deal, users can now send and request money through Messenger, a new service that makes PayPal more accessible and convenient.

"Whether it's splitting a bill for a cab ride or a night out, paying for your share of the rent, or making sure you get paid back for mom's birthday present, PayPal makes exchanging money between friends and family simple," said PayPal in a statement.

This is not the first time PayPal worked with Facebook. In 2016, the two companies inked a person-to-person deal, letting Messenger users shop and pay through the e-payment system.

"In addition to enabling P2P payments with PayPal in Messenger, we are also introducing our first-ever PayPal customer service bot for Messenger, so PayPal customers can seamlessly receive payment and account support directly in the app," said Bill Ready, PayPal's chief operating officer.

In the meantime, the Facebook app has also been updated with improvements to speed and stability. The update weighs 82.87 megabytes which means there are surely more improvements coming alongside with the update. Download the latest Facebook app via APK Mirror.
