An American magazine has come up with claims that Angelina Jolie is upset with Brad Pitt for being in touch with former wife Jennifer Aniston. The actor apparently reached out to the Friends star to following the death of her mother Nancy Dow.
The cover of In Touch read: "Brad caught with Jen;" "Angelina Explodes: What she saw;" "How Brad and Jen Reconnected," and "Two marriages in shambles."
An alleged source said: "Their fragile marriage has blown up, and it's all over Jen. That phone call was a betrayal as far as Angelina's concerned."
"She accused Brad of sneaking behind her back with Jen and yelled that he'd ruined all their new plans for the future," the insider added. "They've run into another land mine, and it all has to do with Brad reconnecting with Jen again."
"Pitt told Angelina that it had been two months since Jen's mom, Nancy, died and he wanted to see how she was doing," the source continued.
Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning actress had previously revealed that the couple does have problems, but sort them out in the healthiest possible way. In an issue of Vogue, Jolie talked about their movie, By The Sea, in which they play a married couple who are going through a tough time. The film has been written and directed by the Maleficent actress and is the first time she and the Moneyball star have co-starred in a film since the famous 2005 action drama, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
"It's not autobiographical," she said of the film. "Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn't have made the film."
"This is the only film I've done that is completely based on my own crazy mind...As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones," Jolie added. "Just being raw actors. It's not the safest idea. But life is short."
