Kim Ji-won, the army doctor of the KBS2's record breaking series Descendants of the Sun, is very happy about the way her career has taken a life-changing turn after the popular drama went live.
The 23-year-old South Korean actress, who debuted in the world of drama series with Romantic Heaven in 2011, revealed that Descendants of the Sun is one of the best things happened to her which she can unthinkingly vouch on for her future references.
"This drama has been a life-changing production for me. Rather than a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I think it has been a turning point in my life. Of course I'm also thankful to all the productions I've done so far because they helped me become who I am today. But I think 'Descendants of the Sun' might become my representative work," the actress stated in her interview with Naver.
When asked about a little sneak- peek into her upcoming role in the 16 episode series, the actress did not reveal much as she does not want to spoil the interest of the audience. Still she gave a little insight and warned of some 'huge incident' going to happen in the upcoming episodes .
"I will say that even though the whole drama has been like this, there was a serious incident in the recent episodes. There will be another huge incident in the future. When it happens, the characters' feelings will become more intense. You can also look forward to 'skinship' between the Goo-Won couple", she said.
Descendants of the Sun will see its culminating episode on 14 April, and Kim has not narrowed down any future project yet.
"It's not going as well as I'd like. I keep worrying about what kind of character I have to do next, and what image I have to show people next. Now I think that as long as I have a good script and a good role and work hard, it doesn't matter how it turns out", she revealed.
