South Korean actress Kim Soo-hyun, also known as Claudia Kim, has been cast in the upcoming sequel to 'Harry Potter' prequel 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.'

As noted by Website Koreaboo, she will play the role of a woman who is an attraction in a wizarding circus. Icelandic-American actor Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will play the head of the wizarding circus and Freakshow.

The actress, whose first leading role was in the MBC sitcom 'Standby,' gained international attention after starring in the American web drama series 'Marco Polo' and subsequently in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).'

She will join other new cast members, namely, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Newt's older brother, Ingvar Sigurdsson as a powerful bounty hunter called Grimmson, William Nadylam as a wizard named Yusuf Kama and Kevin Guthrie as Mr. Abernathy a person of authority at MACUSA.

It was announced earlier that Jude Law had been cast as a younger Albus Dumbledore. He will be the third actor to portray the bearded wizard after the late Richard Harris and Michael Gambon. Fans had wanted Richard Harris's son, actor Jared Harris to take on the role but that did not happen.

In addition to the new cast members, most of the principal actors from the first 'Fantastic Beasts' movie are returning, including Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Johnny Depp, who will play Dumbledore's ex-love interest and arch-enemy, Gellert Grindelwald.

American actress, singer and model Zoë Kravitz was already featured in a photograph in 'Fantastic Beasts' as Leta Lestrange. She will be appearing in person in the second movie as a witch born into the dark pureblood "Lestrange" family who liked to control Newt. Her actions have harmed Newt in the past, though he might still be in love with her.

As reported by website Variety, Warner Bros. revealed that "Grindelwald has made a dramatic escape and has been gathering more followers to his cause – elevating wizards above all non-magical beings. The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander."

J.K. Rowling has written the screenplay, like she did for the first 'Fantastic Beasts' movie. David Yates, who directed the last four 'Harry potter' films and the first 'Fantastic Beasts,' will also be returning to helm the second movie. He will reportedly helm all five planned movies in the series.

The 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' sequel releases on November 16 in the United States. Principal photography began on July 3 in the U.K.
