John Legend is not upset with Chrissy Teigen for suffering a major wardrobe malfunction at the 2016 American Music Awards. The model accidentally exposed her private parts in a black Yousef Akbar dress, featuring a daring split.
During an interview with Extra, the 37-year-old singer talked about his wife's outfit. He said: "The photographer had to get the exact perfect angle. If people are enticed or excited by that, that's their thing, it's just a moment in time that was captured on film. I love the dress and I thought it was great."
He added: "Honestly, we were worried there might be that moment, so we checked it. We were watching her walk. I was like, 'It looks good. Looks like all is well.' But obviously, if a photographer is resourceful enough they can find that one moment."
Teigen also took to her social media account following the backlash. A Twitter user said: "Underwear-free @chrissyteigen what happened to being a lady? #SMH"
The mother-of-one responded: "I am pretty sure you could clearly see I'm a lady."
