Activision and Sledgehammer Games have finally unveiled the release date details along with the official gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated PC game of the year, which will also make its way to the consoles. The latest creation in the Call of Duty franchise aka 'Call of Duty: WW2' will take us back to its roots along the lines of the original game.

The game world for Call of Duty: WWII has reportedly been set in the time frame between 1944 and 1945. Meanwhile, Activision hints at some parts of the game dating back to early 1040s while the details seem very scarce at the moment.
