Korean boy band BTS are rebranding their identity, unveiling a new logo and changing their English name to "Beyond The Scene."

The new logo and name were released through a video uploaded on YouTube in which leader Rap Monster says in the ends, "Beyond The Scene, BTS."

BTS debuted with the Korean name Bangtan Sonyeondan, which is translated to English as Bulletproof Boy Scouts. However, the group decided to change the English name to Beyond The Scene.

"We really like the new BI [Brand Identity]," BTS posted on Twitter, according to Billboard.com. "We were really looking forward to it and were eager to show it to everyone even a day sooner [than we did]. More than anything, it shows that ARMY and we, BTS, are connected as one and are filled with meaning that makes us feel good."

As for the logo, BTS originally used a vest as their trademark design but now it looks like a shield.

Fans' reactions to the brand identity change on YouTube varied but most of them expressed their approval.

"I find it hella cute that they made a logo for army too like that's the cutest thing any boy band has done in the history of boybands. damniT OUR BOYS ARE THE BEST," one fan commented.

Another said, "I became Army in Wings era im sad but very happy because we should move on. If Army and BTS are together everything will be possible. Welcome to new Awards!! Im so excited. This era will be lit."

"I will miss the old one. But I really like this new one and it also has a strong meaning to it. It's simple, neat and it also shows how BTS have reached an another step into their career and have matured. I Love how they made another logo just for the armys to make it feel like we're connected to them. The new English name "Beyond the scenes" is also really cool," one fan said.

The release of the new logo and name coincided with the release of BTS' cover of Seo Taiji and Boys' 1995 song "Come Back Home."

Seo Taiji and BTS are collaborating for the "Seo Taiji 25 Project: Time Traveler."
