Brad Pitt is slowly trying to move on in his life, after split from Angelina Jolie. The actor is reportedly hoping to find a partner soon.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Make no mistake about it, Brad's priority is absolutely his kids right now. They are his life and he's making sure they are happy, safe, and surrounded by love. Saying that, Brad does realize he doesn't want to be alone forever and having someone to love again is appealing."
"Brad is a passionate, emotional guy who loves being in love so it will definitely happen. After a lot of work on himself he's finally open to it — down the road. For now he still needs to put in more time working on himself and his new healthy life," the insider added.
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, and the couple's six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox (8) - reside with her.
Meanwhile, during a recent interview with GQ, the 53-year-old actor revealed his priority right now are the couple's children. He said: "Family first. People on their deathbeds don't talk about what they obtained or were awarded."
"They talk about their loved ones or their regrets—that seems to be the menu. I say that as someone who's let the work take me away. Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I'm not hearing. I want to be better at that," Pitt added.
