It has been learnt that estrange Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have began speaking to each other again, after their split last September. They are reportedly trying to mend things, at least for the sake of their children.
People has garnered from a source that things are going back to normal for Pitt and Jolie and the 'Allied' actor is certainly happy about it. "He's much happier," a source told People. "He's very relieved that things are not playing out in public anymore."
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's separation was a highly publicised affair. There were reports of Jolie's deteriorating health in addition to Pitt himself appeared thin with concerns that their divorce is taking a toll on the mental and physical health of both. Pitt also reportedly reconnected with his ex-wife, actress, Jennifer Anniston, during this difficult time. Both of them were reportedly texting as friends.
The two actors decided to manage their divorce discreetly in January and hired a private judge to handle issues relating to custody and divorce. The negotiations, the website points out, are ongoing. The source of People also added, "It was a rough time, but they were able to resolve it," adding "This is a work in progress."
E! News has also learnt from their source that things have calmed between the couple and it's "not as tense as it had been." The source had added, "They are focused on the kids and working to do what's best for them." Indeed, despite the ongoing divorce, Jolie praised Pitt's parenting skills. In an interview on Good Morning America, she said Pitt a 'wonderful father' to their six children. She had also said, "We are focusing on the health of our family," adding, "We will be stronger when we come out of this, because that's what we've determined to do as a family."
The source for People also said that Bard Pitt has "always been extremely positive about how Angie's a good mother, and the goal was to resolve everything for the kids and the whole family, and they're working toward that."
Pitt's dedication to his children was also confirmed by an insider close to Pitt, who said, "He is spending more time with the kids when they are in L.A.," adding, "He has even spent some time with Maddox and Pax. Things are definitely calming down." Things certainly seem better for the famous couple.
