BIGBANG is one of the most successful Asian music groups of all time. The five members - G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, has enthralled the Korean music world since their first performance in Seoul on 19 August 2006.

However, the path to fame and glory was not easy, says South Korean singer Seungri. During an episode of the SBS show Flower Crew, the 26-year-old singer, whose real name is Lee Seung-hyun, talked about the boy group's music journey. He said: "You have to stick it out in between the uncertainty and certainty."

He added: "It wasn't an easy feat for BIGBANG to reach ten years. You come to be thankful for everything that happened in those ten years. It was hard work finding my own success among members who all do so well."

Seungri also dished about his fellow members. He said: "Our oldest member T.O.P is tender-hearted and Daesung is the one who seems like a grandpa. G-Dragon and Taeyang are mature and warm. I still use honorific speech with them and they treat me well as the youngest."

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk had talked about the band's music and future plans. He said: "I think we've reached the halfway point of the group's initial goals. I made BIGBANG because I wanted a long-lasting group, and 10 years was the first milestone. Even when BIGBANG had debuted, the life expectancy for an idol group was about three to five years. With the recent reunion performance by Sechs Kies, I looked forward to where BIGBANG might be in 10 years. Seeing 20,000 fans support the group after 16 years, I thought BIGBANG could easily do at least 10 more years."
