Beyoncé has reportedly asked Jay-Z to rekindle his friendship with Kanye West. The rapper was hospitalized following the cancellation of the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour.
West threw shade at the 46-year-old media mogul during his Saint Pablo Tour at Key Arena in Seattle, for not reaching out to him after Kim Kardashian was assaulted and robbed in her Paris hotel room. Following that, on 20 November, West again went on rant about the couple, and performed three songs before abruptly ending his concert at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
The 39-year-old Gold Digger hitmaker was checked into UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation in Los Angeles. A source told The Sun: "Beyoncé is urging Jay to let bygones be bygones, and Jay is coming round to the idea and fast as he sees Kanye is in trouble."
The insider added: "No matter what has happened between them, Kanye has always been Jay's little bro and Jay has always called him his 'familia'."
"When Kanye's mother Donda died, it was Bey and Jay that Kanye turned to. They were his number one comforters, with Beyoncé even playing Connect 4 with him to take his mind off things. They're now planning to reach out to Kanye quietly and in private to avoid any media storm but just to let him know they are there for him," the source continued.
It was a well-known fact that Kardashian and Beyoncé are not in good terms. The Halo singer and Jay Z were noticeably absent from Kardashian and West's wedding in Florence, Italy on 24 May 2014. The ladies were both at the 2014 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, but chose to keep a distance from each other at the event.
