Ben Affleck desperately wants to know if Jennifer Garner wants to reconcile with him. The 43-year-old actress and the Argo actor have remained close, though they announced their divorce in a joint statement on 30 June 2015 — a day after their tenth wedding anniversary.
According to celebrity gossip website Radar Online, the Batman v Superman actor wants to know what is on Garner's mind regarding the divorce. An alleged source said: "A lot of people feel Ben's really getting jerked around by Jen, who's stringing him along and making him jump through hoops."
"It must be driving Ben nuts because Jen's so hot and cold. Just when he thinks she's taking him back, she'll do an interview or have her team say the opposite," the insider added.
"Ben really has no idea where he stands with Jen anymore and there's no doubt she's playing with his head," the source continued.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Garner revealed details about her split with Affleck. She told the publication: "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had. He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy. I always say, 'When his sun shines on you, you feel it.' But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it's cold. He can cast quite a shadow."
"It was a real marriage. It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work," she added.
