Barbadian singer/actress Rihanna is reportedly missing former boyfriend, American singer Chris Brown. The FourFiveSeconds hitmaker keeps recollecting the good times she spent with the R&B singer.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Rihanna would take Chris back in a heartbeat, but she can't. Despite everything that has happened between them, she still really really loves Chris."
"Now that probably shocks a ton of people, but they don't know Chris or Ri, she understands him and he's opened up to her about everything he's been through," the insider added.
"It breaks her heart when she thinks of Chris, and she doesn't view him as some kind of 'monster' like other people do. You gotta walk a mile in another person's shoes before you can pass judgement on them," the source said.
Rihanna has kept her dating life away from the spotlight after parting ways with Brown. In 2009, Brown had assaulted the five-time Grammy winner. He hit her so forcefully that she had major bruising on her face, a split lip and a bloody nose.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Daily Mail, Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty revealed that his daughter and Brown will not be getting back together. He said: "I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards Robyn said, 'dad you really taking pictures with he though?'"
"Let her do what she wants to do. This recycling thing don't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty. Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," Fenty added.
