JTBC's talk show "Ssulzun" and MBC's variety show "Infinite Challenge" tied for first place as Koreans' favorite TV shows for April this year.
Gallup Korea released the results of its monthly survey on the top choices for TV programs among Korean viewers. A total of 1,004 respondents aged 19 and above were surveyed from April 18 to 20.
"Ssulzun" and "Infinite Challenge" topped the poll with 8.5 percent each. "Infinite Challenge" jumped back to first place after undergoing a seven-week hiatus starting in January this year.
"Infinite Challenge" was placed third in the March survey and second in February and January. For 27 consecutive months from October 2014 to December 2016, "Infinite Challenge" had topped the survey.
In recent episodes, popular actor Park Bo gum became a guest for the show's "Pyeongchang Winter Olympics" specials.
On the other hand, "Ssulzun" was placed third in January before grabbing first place in February and March. The program is hosted by Kim Gura, Rhyu Si-min and Jun Won-tchack.
The Monday to Friday KBS drama "Still Loving You" was on third place with 6.4 percent while the SBS series "Whisper" and MBC's drama "Rebel: The Thief Who Stole the People" tied for fourth place with 4.6 percent.
JTBC's "Knowing Bros" placed sixth with 3.9 percent and KBS' "2 Days & 1 Night" occupied seventh place with 3.3 percent.
The eight to tenth places are tvN's "Youn's Kitchen," 3.1 percent; KBS' "First Love Again," 2.7 percent; and MBN's "I Am A Natural Person," 2.6.
SBS' "The Its Know" placed 11th with 1.8 percent followed by 12th placers SBS' "Mom's Diary-My Ugly Duckling," MBC's singing competition "King of Mask Singer" and SBS' variety show "Running Man," all with 1.4 percent.
Tied for 15th place with 1.3 percent are reality show "Law of the Jungle" (SBS), talk show "Radio Star" (MBC) and "Carefree Travellers" (JTBC).
Channel A's "Outsiders" and JTBC's "Let's Eat Dinner Together" tied for 18th place with 1.2 percent while the SBS audition program "K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance" came in at 20th place with 1.1 percent.
