Anne Hathaway has welcomed her first child with husband Adam Shulman. The Oscar winner gave birth to a baby boy on 24 March in Los Angeles.
According to E! News, the couple have named their son, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. A source said: "The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A. and Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."
The Les Miserables actress, who got married to Shulman in September 2012, had previously expressed her desire to start a family. In an interview with The Telegraph newspaper, the 33-year-old actress revealed she wants to give more time to her personal life. She said: "I gotta get on it, you know? I'd like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special."
"I've had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby. I also had to find a baby daddy first - which I now have," Hathaway added.
Hathaway and Shulman began dating in 2008, shortly after the Devil Wears Prada actress ended her relationship with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, who was found guilty of fraud.
