HBO has released a poster for the Game of Thrones Season 7, that is the second last season of the widely popular fantasy drama, and fans have been going crazy about it. The poster shows nothing but fire and ice.

If the drama is being closely monitored, fire has always been associated with Emilia Clarke's Daenerys as she is the mother of dragons, while Jon Snow, the King of the North is associated with ice. Several images that were leaked from filming location showed the forces of Daenerys and Jon Snow getting together in Season 7 of the drama inspired by George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, and the poster could be hinting at that union.

However, some believe that the poster is an indication of the White Walkers becoming a greater threat in Season 7. Jon Snow dominates the image, and the mountainous region in the background indicates that most of the action in the upcoming season will be centered around the North or even beyond the Wall.

HBO has still not announced the premiere date for Season 7 of Game of Thrones and has merely said the latest instalment will be aired in the summer. But, Liam Cunningham, the Game of Thrones actor reveals that July is a possible month for the telecast.

In an interview with the Independent, he said: "I've been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April. It's July now, I think."

"There's going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere. The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September," he added.

But soon after this, he tweeted that he wasn't sure of the premiere date.

The Game of Thrones fans in India will be able to witness the seventh season on Star World Premiere HD shortly after its US premiere.
