Here's how to set up carrier billing as a payment method for all app and content purchases including App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store and Apple Music across all your devices:
Steps to set up carrier billing on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
Step 1: Open iTunes Store or App Store on your iOS device.
Step 2: Hit the Featured button in the toolbar and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Select your Apple ID. If are not logged in, just choose the Log In option and enter your Apple ID. You can then select View Apple ID and input the password if necessary.
Step 4: Now tap on Payment information to access the Mobile Phone option under various payment related options. If this option is inaccessible then it means carrier billing is unavailable in your region.
Step 5: Finally, you can decide to use the existing contact number or manually select a different number for making your payment. If you choose existing number, Apple will automatically verify your number with your carrier to verify your eligibility for carrier billing service.
Step 6: Alternatively, you may choose to enter a different mobile phone number that you want to be billed to and then enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone via SMS. Finally, tap Verify to check the validity of the OTP code.
