Lead actors of JTBC drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Park Hyung-sik and Ji-soo are of the opinion that Park Bo-young, who plays the lead character in the drama is someone every man wants to work with.
Website Allkpop reported that the cast of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon attended a press conference for the upcoming drama, and that the lead male actors, Park Hyung-shik and Ji-soo heaped praises on their female lead. Park Hyung-sik, fresh off Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, said that he had always wanted to act with Park Bo-young and was glad to be given that opportunity. He said: "I'd wanted to act with her after watching her on 'A Werewolf Boy,' so after getting the chance to act with her this time, I'm very happy, and all of the actors around me who are my age are incredibly envious of me... I became a winner."
Ji-soo was also similarly star-struck and said it was an honour for him to be able to share screen space with Bo-young. He said: "She was like an angel the first time I set eyes on her. Hyungsik said so too, but Park Bo Young noona is anyone's dream actress, so I also am receiving the envy of those around me these days. I don't necessarily express it very often, but every scene I get to film with her is an honor, and of course I like acting with Hyungsik hyung too, but... I'm happy."
The Master of Ceremonies of the Press conference also felt odd at Ji-soo showering Park Bo-young with praises and jokingly asked the latter if he had been bribed by Park Bo-young to say such nice words. Obviously that wasn't the case as Ji-soo denied such charges.
In that same press conference, the producer of the JTBC drama also thanked all the actors for creating a good filming atmosphere in the set, as reported by Soompi. He also shed some light on the chemistry of the actors on set. He jokingly suggested: "Ji Soo and Park Hyung Sik seem closer to each other, more so than they are with Park Bo Young that it makes her seem like the outsider. The filming site feels so enjoyable and I think it's because we're working with kind-hearted people."
The producer also praised Park Bo-young's acting, saying: "I wanted to work with her after seeing her in dramas and films. I'm so happy to have met her through this drama. I am realizing how great of an actress she is. It's hard to have good dictation for specific scenes, but she successfully carries them out and pays attention to the littlest of details. It amazes me and it makes me think, 'How does she do that?' Filming is so fun thanks to her."
The official synopsis of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, as provided on its Facebook page read: "This drama tells the story about Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) who is a woman born with Herculean strength, anything she touches with too much force crumble."
