Jung Yein of the popular girl group Lovelyz injured her ankle during her rehearsal session and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, her current situation and the exact details of the injury are not disclosed yet by Woolim Entertainment.
Jung was practising for the group's comeback performance and due to some unfortunate disbalance, injured her ankle and was taken to the hospital. The group was practising for their upcoming new album that is going to mark the girl group's comeback. Woolim Entertainment, the agency backing the girl band informed the media that it is highly probable that Jung would not be able to perform in upcoming album promotions and will have to take full rest for quick recovery.
Woolim Entertainment's statement read: "Jung Yein suffered an ankle injury during dance practice. We can't provide the exact details about the injury at this time but for the health of our artist, she will currently halt all promotions and rest."
According to some media reports, Woolim Entertainment has not yet made any final decision regarding Jung's participation in upcoming significant promotional events. Some contradicting statements to the one issued by the entertainment agency says: "We will closely monitor her situation and reveal more details regarding her comeback's participation", as reported by Koreaboo.
Woolim Entertainment also mentioned about the half-cast that Jung is wearing saying: "Yein is currently resting [and] wearing a half-cast". Girl group Lovelyz is currently scheduled on making a grand comeback on February 27 with their second album, 'R U READY?'
