Beyonce and Jay-Z were reportedly on the verge of break-up before announcing her baby news. The Grammy award winning singer had recently announced that she and the media mogul are expecting twins.
According to Radar Online, the two are hoping to save their marriage after the Halo singer's pregnancy news. A source said: "Bey and Jay have had a really tough time, and they've been banking on another baby to get things back on track."
The insider added that Beyonce and Jay-Z were "literally signatures away from a divorce!"
Beyonce is reportedly planning to stay away from spotlight till she welcomes her babies. A source revealed: "Beyonce controls her image more fiercely than any other artist alive today. She is going into hiding now after the Grammys until after the twins are born."
"Beyonce showed the world the image of her growing pregnancy and that's the only image she wants out in the public.Pregnancy is hard when you are having one baby let alone two. She doesn't want anyone to see it," the insider added.
Jay-Z had previously revealed his dreams of expanding his family with Beyonce. The couple are already parents to a five-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy Carter. During an interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez in 2013, the rapper revealed that he would love to have more children.
"God willing, yeah, get a little basketball team going," he was quoted as saying in Us Weekly. "Then you could be their agent and their dad at the same time. The world would be a better place."
