Game of Thrones (GoT) will be returning to HBO for Season 7 with rumours swirling around hinting at episode 1 airing on June 25, 2017. However, the channel is yet to make the official air date announcement.

Fans can also expect a trailer for the upcoming season to be dropped soon, especially now when the production has wrapped up. According to reports, Game of Thrones Season 7 will have only seven episodes, as opposed to the usual 10.

Meanwhile, coming to the spoilers, the makers have gone to great lengths to prevent spoiler leaks from Season 7, but images from production site have helped confirm various fan theories.

Although, there have not been much information regarding the major deaths that will take place in Season 7, but two actresses have hinted at themselves being safe from any tragedy in the finale. Recently in an interview with HeyUGuys on the BAFTA red carpet, Sophie Turner said that her character Sansa Stark will survive in the Season 7 finale.

"We've just finished shooting season seven of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season eight. I've got a busy year lined up," the X Men: Apocalypse star said.

Arya Stark, Sansa's on-screen sister is also expected to avoid any potential tragedy. Maisie Williams, who portrays the character of Arya, said that she did not get the script for Season 8, but she is hopeful about getting one. Williams also revealed that season 7 would end with "a huge cliffhanger."

Game of Thrones Season 7, which is based on George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, will apparently feature the reunion of the surviving Stark children. Several leaked images from the production set of the series also gave a hint of Jon Snow meeting Daenerys and her dragons.
