Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na's on-screen romance in Goblin was well received by the show's fans. In the tvN series, the Grim Reaper and chicken restaurant owner's love affair was adored by all.
During the special episode of Goblin, the two talked about their chemistry. Wook said: "I didn't get to date Sunny properly. I was thinking of how it would turn out if I could have shown a bit more of a cute and lovey-dovey image."
Yoo In Na added: "There wasn't much of a sweet dating process."
Wook continued: "Even so, the viewers gave us a lot of love and support, so I'm thankful for that. I think I did well thanks to [Yoo In Na.]"
Goblin aired its final episode on January 21. The show turned out to be one of the greatest Korean dramas produced in 2016.
Previously, Wook had revealed how he agreed to play the character. He said: "I thought about it a lot, and I think I made the right decision, being able to show a different side of myself to everyone."
"During my acting career, there's never been a character that I've particularly disliked or liked. But among those, I think the grim reaper, for many reasons, will be one that I remember for a very long time," he added.
Adding on, Wook revealed what he likes about the role. He said: "I think the most charming part of the grim reaper is that he appears cold when he's working, but he's actually got a warm heart. Personally, I like the warm side of the grim reaper more. His cute charm. And Sunny calls him cute all the time, so people really like that."
