Lee Min Ho fantasy drama is still ruling over K-drama Goblin in terms of TV ratings. The SBS drama Legend of the Blue Sea recently broke a record that widened the gap it had with that of tvN's Goblin

The finale of the SBS drama is scheduled to be broadcast on January 25, Wednesday. The most recent episode of the SBS drama achieved 21 percent in nationwide audience share. From the previous ratings report it showed an increase in 2.7 percent. Furthermore, in the Seoul metropolitan area, its viewership reportedly reached 22 percent.

As earlier reported by International Business Times, "Recently, a research firm conducted a brand reputation tally featuring the TV shows. The research was made based on the buzz that is created by the dramas on the social networking pages. Also, the amount of media coverage the dramas get be it on print or sites were also taken into account. Legend of the Blue Sea was ranked number one in terms of brand reputation."

"And, according to the research, the Legend of the Blue Sea came out to be one of the most-talked about K-drama today. It was seen that after every episode the fans go on to the social media to discuss, comment or give their views and theories."

"Legend of the Blue Sea" behind-the-scenes video was posted on the official twitter page of the SBS drama which revealed the preparation Jun Ji Hyun and the hard work she had to go through to play the role of a mermaid.

Compared to tvN's Goblin, the SBS drama is scoring high. According to the latest data from Nielsen Korea the tvN drama was able to gather a share of 15.55 percent for its last week episodes.

However, fans claim that Goblin faces limitations as it airs on cable tV, whereas it's not in the case of Legend of the Blue Sea.
