South Korean actress Bae Doona who has already tasted success in Hollywood is allegedly getting ready to return back to her roots. Reportedly, the actress is being offered to star in tvN's new drama, Forest of Secrets along with Cho Seung Woo.
According to Yibada, a representative of the upcoming drama said that the production team of the drama has sent Bae Doona and Cho Seung Woo offers to star in the new drama series.
Though not much is known about the cast or characters of the drama, as of now the discussions that took place, appears to be positive. However, there are no confirmation about casting for the other characters.
The new drama Forest of Secrets is expected to air in mid 2017.
According to Soompi, the thriller series is about an emotional prosecutor who finds out secrets about a case in the public prosecutor's office. After he comes to know about it, he himself tries to find out the real culprit.
Meanwhile, Bae Doona is again active in South Korea lately. Most recently, the actress was spotted shooting for MBC's Infinity Challenge, in Seoul, allkpop reported.
Not much is known about the concept of the show, but it is already getting a lot of attention because of Bae Doona, as she rarely appears on local TV shows because of her busy schedule.
Previously, the South Korean actress was seen in Cloud Atlas along with Tom Hanks and Halley Berry. Currently, she stars in Netflix's Sense8 Season 2 where she is playing Sun.
According to the show's creators her character will be stronger in the upcoming season. They said: "This season, she's getting stronger ... as a weapon and she's finding a way for revenge."
