Recently, we heard that actor Gong Yoo, who had big success this year, on the big screen with the fantastic zombie movie "Train To Busan," came back to the small screen after four years with the highly successful first episode of "Goblin." He last appeared on a television series "Big" in 2012. While this is indeed great news for fans of K-Drama, there are many other stars missing from the small screen.

Soompi.com has compiled a list of actors, fans of K-drama are waiting for. The first one to make the list of those highly anticipated actors is Kim Soo Hyun. The South Korean actor is best known for appearing in the dramas "Dream High," "Moon Embracing the Sun," "My Love from the Star" and "The Producers." He is one of the top stars of the Korean Wave. However, he hasn't been seen on the telly for the entirety of 2016. Hopefully, he makes a big comeback for all the fans soon.

Next on the list is Kim Tae-hee, best known for her roles in Korean dramas such as "Stairway to Heaven," "Love Story in Harvard," "Iris," "My Princess," and "Yong-pal." The last mentioned TV series finished airing on October 2015 and Kim won a top acting award in the Korean Drama Awards.

Jung Eun-ji, is not just an actress, but also a talented singer and songwriter. In the acting department, she is best known for starring in the television dramas "Reply 1997," "Reply 1994," "That Winter, the Wind Blows," "Trot Lovers" and "Cheer Up!"

Hyun Bin has also been missing from the small screen following his leading turn in "Hyde, Jekyll, Me" in 2015. The actor is best known for playing the lead in such television dramas like "My Name is Kim Sam-soon," "The Snow Queen," "Worlds Within" and "Secret Garden." He will be seen as Hwang Ji-Sung in the film "Kkoon" the coming year, however, it is television where he has his most loyal fans. Hopefully, he has some exciting plans to return to the small screen sometime soon.

There are many others like Ha Ji Won, Yoo Ah In whose return to television, where they truly belong, is highly anticipated. Let's hope 2017 is that year.
