The undying Brangelina saga has been in the spotlight for months now. After the split of the two, and Brad Pitt's alleged closeness with his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard was the toast for the rumours. Now the chatter is about Pitt trying to meet his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

Years after their separation, the Allied actor admitted his mistakes against his former wife Jennifer Aniston. According to the reports, he sent Jennifer Aniston an email apologizing for his mistakes and also asking her out to have a dinner with him. The actor and the former 'Friends' actress were in London last week. While Pitt was there to promote his movie 'Allied', Aniston went there for a vacation with her husband.

Since Brad knew Jennifer was around, he gave her a call. According to the reports, they had a brief conversation but Aniston turned down the dinner invitation.

According to Heat magazine, Jennifer was a little more reticent. "(Brad Pitt)He called her and they had a brief conversation. But Jen (Jennifer Aniston), who is married to actor Justin Theroux told Brad that, while she supported him in spirit, she didn't have time to see him," a source informed the Heat magazine.

The source further stated: "She is happily married and meeting Brad would be an insult to Justin. She knows what matters and it's her marriage."

It has been a tough time for the 52-year-old actor, apart from his split with Jolie, he was recently cleared of any wrongdoing in an investigation which claimed he abused 15-year-old son Maddox. The charges against the actor have been dropped by Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and the FBI
