American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift is not excited for Rita Ora's new album. The Grammy-award winning singer is worried that there will be songs about the X-factor judge's past relationship with Scottish singer/DJ Calvin Harris.
"Taylor is worried about Rita Ora's upcoming record, because there's a couple of tracks that paint Calvin in a bad light," a source told Hollywood Life. "She doesn't want any negative comments about her man affecting their relationship because of the public conception of how perfectly suited to each other they are, and how squeaky-clean he appears to be."
"Plus, after being the subject of an attack by Kanye it's the last thing she needs to have her name dragged up in public in someone else's music," the insider added.
In June 2014, Harris confirmed that he and Ora had parted ways. He wrote on Twitter: "To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."
Ora also took to her account to address the reports. She wrote: "I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time w Calvin,& i will treasure the memories."
During an interview with Marie Claire, the Body on Me singer opened up about her split with Harris. She said: "There was a reason why I split up with him. And there was a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don't have to explain myself to anybody... It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he'd never steer me wrong. But then 'I Will Never Let You Down' came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what."
