Chris Brown is reportedly trying to win Rihanna's heart after her supposed split with Drake. The Loyal hitmaker wants to rekindle his romance with the Barbadian beauty.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Chris going after Rihanna again, hard. He just had his assistant send a ton of stuff to her in Barbados for her and her family. He sent booze, flowers, a bunch of toys for all the kids, he knows the way to her heart is through her family."
"Plus he did some painting for her, he had it all covered up but it was something he did himself. He's saying he's going to get her back, that they belong together and stuff. He definitely sees this break-up from Drake as his opportunity," the insider added.
Brown had infamously assaulted the five-time Grammy winner in 2009. He hit her so forcefully that she had major bruising on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose. However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup and drama.
Rihanna seems to have hinted her split with Drake as she posted a photo message on her Instagram account, bashing her former boyfriends. The post read: "None of my exs are married or in happy relationships so it's safe to say that I wasn't da problem lol."
Meanwhile, in an interview with Daily Mail, Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty revealed that his daughter and Brown will not be getting back together. He said: "I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards Robyn said, 'dad you really taking pictures with he though?'"
"Let her do what she wants to do. This recycling thing don't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty. Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," Fenty added.
